Kia Ora everyone today I’m going to tell you some of my chemistry experiments, all of them are pro.
My hypothesis is the pins will drop one by one.
on conduction, our aim was to observe the pins fall while the rod is heating up.
The result is it actually worked, we watched the pins fall and some of them were instant.
My hypothesis is to watch the water rotate fast.
on convection, our aim was to observe the water rotate.
the result is good! cause we saw the color rotate with the water while heating up.
My hypothesis is to implode the can by heating the can with water inside and putting it in cold water.
on contraction, our aim was to observe the can implode by heating up the water and then putting it in cold water.
The result didnt work out, we tried twice but it still failed but in the end, we watched some of our classmate’s cans implode.
In conclusion, understanding the basics of contraction, conduction, and convection is essential for understanding the world around us. These heat transfer mechanisms are constantly at work and play a crucial role in everything from cooking a meal to regulating the temperature of our homes.
